John Keells supports the ‘No Kunu’ Campaign

John Keells supported the No-Kunu campaign – a mass citizen initiative, by deploying  a total of 60 volunteers from all sectors of the group. The volunteers actively cleaned  the neighborhood surrounding our businesses whilst also engaging with the residents and raising awareness – making them more mindful of the impacts of carelessly dumping garbage and the importance of garbage segregation. The volunteers also spoke to shop owners, school principals and lottery sellers, giving them suggestions on how they could keep their store fronts and school premises clean thus ensuring that the benefits of this initiative are not only reaped within the period that it is carried out, but would also have a longer term and lasting impact.
