JKH Inter Company Rugby 7s 2018!

John Keells Group Inter-Company Rugby 7’s was held on 13th October 2018 at the CR & FC Grounds.

Cinnamon Red emerged Winners of the 2018 JKH inter-company Rugby 7’s beating Cinnamon Citadel in the Cup Championship (26 – 05). 

Cinnamon Grand beat JMSL (24 – 14) in the Plate Championship while JKOA beat Walkers & Whittalls (19 – 07) in the Bowl Championship. Union Assurance beat CCS in the Shield Championship (17 – 15). 

Cinnamon Grand won the Tag Rugby Tournament, beating Cinnamon Citadel (25 – 05) in the finals.

Player of the Tournament was Janindu Dilshan  from Cinnamon Red and Player of the Final Match was Ishara Madushan from Cinnamon Red.

It was a day of fun, fellowship and camaraderie with games and competitions for the audience throughout the day.  The Obstacle race was won by Transportation sector team while the Instagram Photo Competition was won by Isira Chathuranga Yapa from JK Research (with 918 likes) and “Guess the Cup Champion of Rugby 7s 2018” was won by Fabian George from Cinnamon Red.
